Cape Arid National ParkCape Arid National Park is located about 120 km east of Esperance and covers nearly 280.000 ha of sandplains and heathland vegetation but is also known for its beautiful beaches and the clear seas. Animals common to south-east WA live in the park, including the southern bush rat, western bush wallaby and a variety of reptils and amphibians. Whales and seals are seen regularly from here. Most of the park is accessible by 4WD only, but Poisson Creek, Seals Creek and Thomas River are accessible in normal cars too The fee for the day-pass is $9.00 a car and $3 for motorcycles. If you want to camp within the park you have to pay an additional fee of $10.00.
